Read the numbers correctly

Gates of Olympus RTP.

RTP is a theoretical long-run measure. It is not the amount a player can expect back from a particular deposit or short session.

What RTP describes

Return to player describes a game’s theoretical return across a very large number of wagers under a specified configuration. Actual sessions can vary widely. A stated percentage does not promise that the balance will settle near that percentage after a handful of spins.

Check the active configuration

A game can be available with different RTP configurations. Read the information panel of the exact edition and operator you use. Do not average percentages from different websites or assume a provider headline proves the value in every available instance.

Separate the other measures

Volatility concerns how variable outcomes can be; a maximum-win figure is an upper limit. Neither tells you when a win will occur. Larger multipliers and higher theoretical limits do not remove the risk of loss. Demo outcomes are not a statistically meaningful audit of RTP.

Turnover is different from a deposit

Total stakes means every wager added together. A 20-unit balance used repeatedly can generate turnover greater than 20 units, so applying an RTP percentage only to the starting deposit misunderstands the measure. Real sessions can finish far above or below the theoretical return.

The published values in this collection

The source data lists provider-published references of 96.50% for the original, 1000 and Xmas 1000, and 96.51% for 2500. The Super Scatter provider-page figure was not established and remains blank. The one-hundredth-of-a-percentage-point difference is not a useful forecast of which demo will win next.

These reference values do not identify every operator's active configuration. Before any paid play, open the exact game's information panel and look for its RTP statement. If a source refers to a different edition, market or configuration, keep that distinction rather than combining the numbers.

RTP, volatility and maximum win

RTP describes theoretical return; volatility concerns how widely results can vary; a maximum win is a cap. Two games can share a reference RTP while presenting different features and different result patterns. The maximum does not provide a probability of reaching it, and a multiplier ceiling does not identify a typical prize.

No numerical volatility rating or measured bonus frequency is established by this guide. We do not turn a small demo sample into those figures. A run of losses or a striking virtual win can occur without proving that the published RTP is wrong or that the next outcome is due.

What you can check—and what you cannot measure here

You can identify the full title, read the active RTP statement and note whether an optional mode or purchase has its own conditions. If the value is missing or unclear, seek the provider/operator's rules instead of assuming that the highest percentage quoted online applies.

You cannot audit long-run return from a handful of spins, and a demo cannot prove an operator's withdrawals or real-money fairness. Keep RTP as information for understanding risk, not a target balance you try to force the session to reach. Spending and time limits remain useful whatever the percentage says.

FAQ / OLYMPUS ATLAS

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Does a 96% RTP mean I lose exactly 4%?

No. A theoretical percentage does not determine the result of an individual session.

Can I measure RTP from a few demo spins?

No. Such a sample cannot verify a game’s theoretical long-run return.
